321H stainless steel can be easily welded using standard fusion and resistance welding processes. No preheating is required, and post-weld annealing is generally unnecessary.
321H offers higher carbon content (0.04-0.10%) compared to regular 321 grade, providing enhanced creep resistance and higher strength at temperatures above 1000°F (537°C). It maintains better mechanical properties at elevated temperatures compared to 304 and 304L grades.
